lyrics

Gather 'round children I'll tell you what you hear
It's the sound filling the throats of your fears
Well I'll tell you how they got there and how they came to feast
on our closest of friends who consequentially ceased to be!

We crossed the rio into foreign lands
Five refugees with tired hands set up camp
"I'll take the first night watch," she said
And so it was that by morning...

Oh no, where is the Sun?
Has it gone and forgotten us?
Oh no, where is the Sun?
Has it gone and forgotten to warm our blood?

She had a family who misses her dearly
She couldn't take the voices that were nearly
crawling in her head, dissonant and vile
"They must be put to bed!"
And when we found her...

She had lightning in her lungs
and fire in her blood
She stood under the moon
but we knew she was no longer one of us

Oh no, where is the Sun?
Has it gone and forgotten us?
Oh no, where is the Sun?
Has it gone and forgotten to warm our blood?

I know that you hear the Wolves
and they tell you what you pretend not to know
